Called the number and spoke to a gentleman named Ray.I asked if he could clean the carpet in a granny flat for an elderly member of our community.The very first question he asked was "How soiled is the carpet?".I advised him that the carpet was heavily soiled from a previous tenant's pet peeing and soiling the carpet. He promptly advised me that the underlay would need to be replaced and new carpet laid down. He wasn't looking to make any money in a flash. Early hours in the morning I enquired on the website for a quote and Ray called me first thing that morning to hear my requirements. Ray did a fantastic job cleaning our couch, which had a large stain on one of the seats. He was upfront about the possibility of the stain not lifting completely after the clean, however you can barely see the stain now after the clean. As an asthmatic, I make it a priority for clean living spaces which includes needing to get rid of triggers including dust. Spectacular service! Recently moved in to an apartment and the movers were a little carless, leaving stains on the carpet from the elevator to my unit. I needed to clean my carpets before my Newborn came home for the first time. I left it until really late and I only had 1 day to make it happen. Fortunately I called Ray, he is amazing. He was able to organise to clean my carpets the next day and did an incredible job. For a large fake tan stain he said he wouldn't be able to get out because of the material of our custom lounge.. we can hardly notice anything left of it!! Wow!! Our carpet had been cleaned twice prior to us moving in to a new rental at our request - while it was ten times better after those cleans, it was still heavily stained. As tenants, we felt we had no choice but to live with it. After 12 months we got Ray in to do an annual carpet clean and it's like new!! How long does it take to dry after steam cleaning?
We suggest that you avoid foot traffic for at least 4-6 hours after cleaning — particularly keeping children and pets off the carpet. If you need to walk across freshly steam-cleaned carpet to access another part of your home, we suggest going barefoot or wearing a clean pair of socks to protect the damp fibres.
Ideally, we recommend waiting 8 hours to walk across the cleaned carpet for optimal results. Even though your freshly cleaned carpets may feel dry to the touch, the fibres are still vulnerable to any loose dust and dirt until dried completely.
Do you move furniture?
Your carpet cleaning service is performed by a single technician. We are happy to temporarily move furniture and return pieces to their original position after cleaning. However, please be aware that if a single person is unable to move the piece, we will clean around the furniture, being sure to protect its base from any treatment.
How long do I have to stay off carpets?
To minimize the dirt and dust attracted to freshly treated carpet fibres, we recommend waiting at least 4-6 hours. During the colder months, you can minimize the weight by turning up your heat, using dehumidifiers, and even switching on ceiling fans. Even the fans in your bathrooms and the vent above the stove will increase air circulation and help carpets dry faster.
Do you remove stains?
Did you know that many cleaning products can actually make a spot worse if applied to the incorrect type of stain? How often should I have my carpets cleaned?
