After the carpet cleaning is finished, the treated areas will feel damp to the touch for 4-6 hours. However, your cleaned carpets won’t be completely dry for at least 8 hours after service.

Don’t worry, you can still access recently cleaned rooms! We suggest removing your shoes and donning only clean socks to reduce the risk of exposing clean, damp fibres to new dust and dirt. If possible, keep children and pets away and foot traffic to a minimum until the 8-hour mark has passed.

If your carpet cleaning requires furniture moving of any kind, Captain Carpet Cleaning will move small and medium-size furniture out of the way, perform the cleaning, then put the furniture back in place! Please note that, while normal furniture moving and replacement is included in the carpet cleaning price, we are unable to relocate large pieces that require more than a single person to move.
